High salaries
We see before us a positive trend. Lately, regular news about the excessively high salaries of some employees and directors of charities. This is of course further fueled by the many news about the high bonuses in banks and companies also eventually led to the current crisis.
Fortunately they currently do not lead to a huge decline in donations to our foundation. Indeed, compared to same period last year, we see strong growth! Every so often we receive emails that we have nice extra strengthen our work to continue. Like this one:
Hi dear people,
I got all my charities with generous paid the directors be terminated, and went searching for something where the money well spent.
Fantastic to see you.
I even read that you still have to pay travel expensesI would never demand of you, and it may make me a full-time director (and local employees) receive a salary, so if you still think of you at that point then you do not have to worry that I suddenly run away.
I got your name on a site with good causes, and later I noticed you are also specifically in Nigeria. There I used to be lived, so I was really a sign that I should be with you.
Thanks again for your great work.
Greetings
Suzanne
We are pleased that our (potential) donors is striking that there are charities like Salek, and all your donations are ending up in the projects. It is also one of the main drivers for the establishment of this organization.
And because we do not belong to these great organizations we can not rely on government subsidies and are therefore totally dependent on its own. Along with this you will succeed! Thank you!
